GoodReads Reviews for Ghosts on the Prairies
Thanks to all those who shared their reviews.
Ghosts on the Prairies is a novel that covers a lot of ground. The issues of race, slavery, cultural identity, abuse, greed and violence are ingeniously woven into what essentially is an epic love story. Beautifully written, with memorable characters and set in the prairie borderlands between Canada and the US during World War I, the novel is an entertaining and sometimes harrowing account of a man’s search for both meaning and happiness. --Steve Harrison
